Test Realm Patch Notes - WoW Patch 2.40
Phew. When it rains – it pours eh? ;)
I’m guessing that the new patch will be called something along the lines of “The Sunwell Isle”. But that ain’t really relevant. You can read the full Test Realm Patch Notes here.
It is looking as if it is shaping up to be a very interesting patch. New PvE raid content will keep the raiding community happy, and make efforts to further isolate and alienate those PvE players that are unable to get a good guild! So that’s cool (no, really it is). There seems to be some long time overdue changes to PvP – including the Instant calculations on honour points (no more bugs thank you!) and the removal of Diminishing returns on honour gained through kills. Those changes to WSG flag carriers won’t go amiss either – I’m fed up with playing hour long WSG matches due to 90% flag carrier defence syndrome!
But let me break down into the Warrior patch notes:
Endless Rage will now give the correct amount of rage as intended from damage dealt by a Warrior. Stances: It is no longer possible to accidentally change into a stance you are already in via macros (resulting in a global cooldown and loss of rage). Whirlwind: Critical strikes with the off-hand weapon from this ability can now trigger Flurry and Rampage. Flurry will properly refresh if a crit occurs with 1 charge left. Improved Hamstring (Arms) effect is now subject to diminishing returns when used in PvP.
Endless Rage will now give the correct amount of rage? Okay so it is a bug fix. Cool. Not sure if that will make Warriors that spec for ER better or worse off. Since I hear nothing but complaints about the talent I can only _hope_ that it is a buff at the end of the day. I’m going to give the talent a whirl before long I think – as I’d like to see how that Imp. MS and ER leaves me with ability to stack up MS debuffs on opponents in BG and non-rated arena one-offs (I could digress a lot here, but I’ll save it for another day).
